  1. Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination & Microchip clinic!

    April 11, 2019, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Animal Services Center

    1-year and 3-year rabies vaccinations will be available for $10. Please bring a previous rabies certificate in order to get the 3-year vaccine. Microchips also available for $35. Please bring all pets on leashes or in carriers.

    Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) provides FREE federal and state income tax preparation to eligible individuals with low-to-middle income, regardless of age or county of residence. Make an Appointment Today: 1 - Online at BIT.LY/OCNCVITA. Be sure to review the eligibility guidelines and What to Bring document; or 2 - Call us at 919-245-4242. Please leave your name and phone number for a return call. Walk-in Clients will be served if time permits. Walk-in clients must meet all eligibility criteria and have all required documents. You should arrive by 9 am for the best chance of being served. Service without an appointment cannot be guaranteed.

  2. Turning Rituals Into Rewards | Main Library | Middle & High School & Adults

    The Kiwanis Club of Hillsborough, with the support of the Hillsborough Running Club and the Orange County Library will host this free event for students, parents, and anyone interested in the benefits of following positive daily rituals. Tom Carr, president of the local Kiwanis Club and vice president of the Hillsborough Running Club will present this fast-paced, informative and humorous program. Tom was a local educator for over thirty years in Orange County Schools and recently served on the Orange County School Board. He will share his personal story on how he has utilized daily rituals. A voracious reader, writer, and runner, Tom has kept daily journals of his activity for the last thirty-seven years. Tom will provide numerous tips to help adults and young people get off to a good start on their road to journaling success. At the end of the presentation participants will receive their own unique booklet.
