Art at the Main Library in Hillsborough

Beth Palmer art

Joy of Creativity Project: Inspired by Botanicals, is a one-woman show by Beth Palmer, a Durham-based facilitative visual artist and arts educator. The show is up now through the end of December and includes works entitled Finding Peace and My Sunshine Friends.

"I chose to install the show in November because it’s International Arts in Healthcare Month and, I named the show 'Inspired by Botanicals' to depict how much I have loved the experience of closely observing nature and working with people who create therapeutic gardens," said Palmer. "It is a joy to have this group of work on exhibit in a beautiful library, surrounded by books and readers, and in a town known for its award winning writers and artists."

We are thrilled to have the vibrant works on the walls at the Main Library and hope you will enjoy seeing the works for yourself. All of the work is available for purchase, with 100% of the proceeds going to the artist.
