Be Counted Sites opening delayed indefinitely
For the first time, residents will be able to respond to the Census online. Be Counted Sites offer free public computers for residents to respond to the Census online. The sites were scheduled to open on March 16. However, the community’s response to COVID-19 has pushed this date back.
No date has been set for the sites to open. However, residents can still fill out the census online by visiting my2020census.gov. Residents can also use the Census’s telephone response system to phone in their answers.
Visit the census website for more information on how to use the telephone to complete the survey. The telephone service is available in 13 languages, including Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and Arabic.
